Commercial Shade Canopy – Mount Martha Treatment Plant
Advances in fabric technology continue to expand the possibilities for applications across various industries. The designed objective of this replacement shade cloth cover was to reduce the risk of contamination exposure during the final treatment stages at the water treatment plant.
The treated sewage produces Class A recycled water which is reused onsite and by local customers, and the remaining water is safely released through the South Eastern Outfall at Boags Rocks.
The 270m2 canopy was fabricated using Comshade in Midnight Green – a heavy duty shade fabric with a proven history of performance under the harsh Australian elements.
Similar to shade sails the flexible membrane was stretched taut between multiple anchor points, and the finished result is a practical and high-quality solution which will effectively serve its purpose for many years to come!
